Enzo Savarese was born in Brescia, Italy, on January 3rd, 1953. In 1977 he graduated in Law, with honours, at University of Rome, La Sapienza. He got a Certificate in International Business and Finance at New York University in 1980. He is fluent in English, French and Spanish.

After serving as lieutenant in Guardia di Finanza, he started his career at Finsider S.P.A. in Rome, as Responsible for European and Institutional Affairs and later as International Marketing Manager. In 1982-83 he joined SiderFrance, where he began his activity as Marketing Manager before being appointed CEO.
He has worked as Vice President Marketing at Siderius Inc, New York in 1983-1986. In 1988 he was assistant to Sofin spa CEO, Naples.

In 1990 he was appointed International Relations Director at Alitalia S.p.A. and later Senior V.P.
In 1994 he was elected member of Italian Parliament. He has been Head of Transportation and Telecommunications Committee, Member of Ue and NATO Committee.

From 2001 he was President and CEO of Alicos Spa in Palermo, a leader Company in the Contact Center sector, and in 2004 he was appointed as board member of Atesia SpA, Rome.

In 2005 he was elected by Parliament Commissioner of National TLC Regulatory Authority AGCOM.
He writes on leading Italian newspapers such as Il Tempo of Rome and teaches at Lumsa University Master Program. He also was a lecturer at Trieste, Roma Tor Vergata and Roma 3 Universities. He was speaker at many international Conferences in Italy, France, Belgium, The Netherlands. Brasil, Guatemala, Egypt, Colombia, UK, USA, and represents Italy in ERG, IRG, and REGULATEL.
